The Golden Frog Saloon

The Golden Frog Saloon storefront and frog sign in Fountain City, Wisconsin

What makes it special? The Golden Frog serves some of our favorite fish and shrimp in the area. You can order the fish battered and fried or broiled throughout the week, not just on Fridays. We also enjoy their tenderloin tips. In summer, there’s spacious outdoor seating and a separate dining room for larger gatherings. We’ve enjoyed both, with excellent service. The historic saloon dates back to 1878. Read more about the Frog.
